Bassist, guitarist and vocalist, Alley Lloyd has worked and performed alongside world-class artists including Fleur East, Poppy Ajudha, Yazmin Lacey and many more (see list below). Her work as an instrumentalist and composer has been featured on BBC Two, BBC Four, ITV, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 6, Worldwide FM, Barbican Cinema, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s Vanbrugh Theatre. As a composer, Alley currently co-composes for multi award-winning, all-female Latin jazz project Colectiva, whose electric performance style and music have taken them to festivals and venues across the U.K., EU and USA.


Alley has toured extensively and has performed in prestigious venues and events around the world, including the National Theatre of Kenya, National Theatre of Ethiopia, SXSW [Texas USA], Barbican, Montreux Jazz Festival, Alexandra Palace Theatre, London Palladium, Glastonbury, Opera Universitario di Trento, Worldwide Festival Séte, One Love Festival Istanbul, Royal Festival Hall and many more. Alley also works as an artist in residence with Nzoyi Records, with whom she has recorded bass for a plethora of artists.
